Every year, millions of people get affected by the dengue disease, so on May 16, we celebrate the national dengue day, which was officially announced by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to promote measures against this disease and has the slogan “fighting for the saving of lives’. It has provided many educational materials, workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns to get rid of dengue and take the necessary precautions.It is a viral disease that spreads through the bite of mosquitoes and is caused by the dengue virus (DENV), which has been divided into four distinct groups and is spread by the female aedas mosquitos which transmit the zika virus,chikungunya virus, and yellow fever virus. In several cases, it can be fatal. Hence, the various symptoms like headache,swollen glands, vomiting, rash, and muscle pain that develop around 3 to 14 days after a bite take 14 days or weeks to recover. In India, it usually comes during and after the monsoon season, and due to the various happenings, you should remove stagnant water from your neighbourhoods and surroundings. You can simply drink or boil the leaves with the tulsi.
