Surinder Shinda Passes Away At Ludhiana Hospital  At The Age Of 24

Surinder Shinda, a prominent Punjabi musician known for songs like Truck Billiya, Putt Jattan De, and Jatt Jeona Morh, passed suddenly on Wednesday at the age of 64.

A well-known figure in the Punjabi entertainment sector was Surinder Shinda. Besides singing some of the hit Punjabi numbers, he also appeared in a few Punjabi films including, Putt Jattan De

Due to unexpected health concerns, the singer was taken to the nearby hospital on July 11. He had surgery and reported having stomach pains days prior to being admitted to the hospital and later developed an infection. 

How Surinder Shinde Admitted to Hospital?

After 20 days at hospital, Surinder Shinde was put into the ventilator before he passed away on wednesday.

After the singer's hospitalization two weeks ago, there have been claims of organ damage and death rumors circulating. Social media began to be inundated with prayers and sympathy posts from worried fans.

Later, Maninder Shinda, his son, went live on his father's official Facebook page to give an update on his health and put an end to the rumors that were going around at the time. He also made it clear that his dad wasn't using a ventilator.

Shinda became known as one of the greatest Punjabi singers and a folk icon during his brilliant career. He wrote a number of well-known songs that have profoundly moved listeners throughout centuries.
